also, Jozz from Creative Produce kindly designed a logo for us which is totally awesome!

Its been a busy few months at LMS - every Sunday we have held workshops exploring beat making, recording and song writing. Lots of participants have been involved and many new volunteers have helped out. Here are some photos from the last few months;

On Sunday 2nd of May we held our first workshop at Lion Mountain Studio. It went really well with Billy and Lamtech creating several new beats using Ableton Live.

Cameron and Alex snuck back in and finished the cupboard off on Friday the 23rd and again with Toby on Tuesday 27th of April. Its looking good - especially with some equipment in there! Everything has its own spot to live and the bench folds up and in, doors even close.

Cupboard is a bit on the woofy side so if you know anyone with spare acoustic foam or miniature bass traps please get in touch! Thanks to Ron Gaydon from Turramurra Music for the sweet deals.

We spent a pleasant Sunday afternoon on the 11th of April pulling out an old cupboard at Skid Row and replacing its external roof. This will be our neatly tucked away and secure studio space. We also held a steering committee and finally decided upon a name for the project; Lion Mountain Studio. Big thanks to Cameron Foster for his help in building it.
